[...] Image by Raymond Yee via Flickr There’s a great opportunity for youngsters between the ages of 16 and 19 who are based in London and are interested in becoming a young entrepreneur, to take part in a six month programme starting this September. The programme is run by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE)-a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking and education. Here is a breakdown of the programme schedule: -3 months of class room instruction (consisting of interactive discussions, lectures and talks from successful entrepreneurs) and 3 months of workshops. -Students work in teams to create business ideas. They will also be supported by a mentor, who will help them turn their ideas into a viable business proposition. -At the end of the programme, students present their business plan to a panel of judges. 20-30 students will be chosen to participate in the programme, with each receiving a certificate upon completion of the programme. To apply send an application form to [email protected], the deadline for entry is Sunday, 16th August. via makeyourmark [...]

    I love this!
It is an amazing opportunity for young people to get a real taster of what entrepreneurship is all about and you get a chance to go to Silicon Valley and meet the Global TiE members - I wish this was around when I was younger…
