The BBC are prototyping a digital radio with Web 2.0 features. It learns from your listening habits, lets you know what stations your friends are listening to, and has an API that web developers can access to create new features.

Beautifully, it is also going to be made out of wood. For some reason that seems to be a lovely touch.
