We’re busy putting out the message that Village SOS is open for applications - for villages with a population under 3,000 who have a community business idea, and for individuals who have run a successful business or project and think they have the skills to become a ‘Village Champion’, and turn the village’s business idea into a reality.

Who better to help publicise the opportunity than the Testostatones, a group of young men who have modernised the barber shop quartet and are currently touring rural pubs in Suffolk and Norfolk singing a Village SOS jingle.

Let us know what you think! And if you have a village business idea or are an enterprising individual don’t forget to apply by noon 14 August.
