Rowland Egege and Baljeet Singh

Pro Active Sports aims to reduce health inequalities in young people by promoting physical activity and sports to primary school children who do not have a dedicated PE teacher.

Pro Active Sports was set up in 2006 by Rowland Egege and Baljeet Singh. Both fully qualified to coach a range of sports, they employ a staff of seven who run hour-longcoaching sessions in schools throughout the Bradford area. The team pass on their skills in sports including football, cricket, athletics and hockey, as well as providing advice on healthy eating. The organisation now has 30 local primary schools on its books.
