Kombat Breakers

Kombat Breakers are a crew of seven breakers/dancers and overall entertainers, who achieved national recognition when they appeared on ITV's Britain's Got Talent programme.

All 7 members of the Kombat Breakers are from Coventry and still live in the area, and they are supporting the Make Your Mark campaign.

They explain how the Kombat Breakers came about: “The idea for the Kombat Breakers started when Leeroy left school in 1999, joined a youth club and set up the group with the people he taught there.”

What started out as a hobby grew into a show which we took on the road. It attracted the attention of the Prince’s Trust which gave us a grant and BBoy Coms who saw our MySpace page.

Things started to snowball and our popularity and our fan base grew which inspired us to audition for Britain’s Got Talent. The rest is history!

What started out as an idea has now turned into reality through a combination of hard work and grabbing the opportunities when they came along. The Make Your Mark campaign is all about making your ideas happen. We started out in Coventry which has a Make Your Mark hub - great news for Coventry which has a wealth of undiscovered talent. So go out there and make your idea happen, we did and so can you!”
