Regional teams

In 2006, Make Your Mark established four local enterprise hubs to co-ordinate activity with all local partners and create an intensive focus in areas of low business start up. Another was established in 2007. These local enterprise teams successfully increased the number of activities, participants and focus on enterprise in each of their areas by delivering national Make Your Mark events and working with local organisations to devise innovative ways to engage young people.

During 2008/9, these teams will take a regional approach. They’ll operate at a strategic level to engage partners in Make Your Mark activities and embed enterprise in the programmes, policies and strategies of key organisations. They will act as catalysts by identifying and connecting partners to deliver sustainable activity and work with RDAs, local authorities and other local and regional partners to support activity across the regions.

Make Your Mark also work closely in the East Midlands with the Unleashing Enterprise team who operate a regional hub with the support of the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA).
