Youth organisations
We know that young people are bursting with enterprise talent. The activities that they pursue outside formal education represent potential new businesses, community projects and social enterprises that could make a difference.
We want to work in partnership with youth organisations across the UK to ensure that more young people can use their talents and interests to make more enterprising ideas happen.
Key campaign activities for youth organisations:
Enterprise Week
Enterprise Week (17-22 November 2008) is a key opportunity to show how your organisation is supporting young people and growing an enterprise culture. This year Enterprise Week is part of the first ever Global Entrepreneurship week and our online ideas bank is brimming with ideas that you can use with any group of young people. Take a look for some inspiration: www.enterpriseweek.org.uk
Photo Me
Get your young people to take a photo of themselves or something that inspires them. Ask them to write a few lines about how they want to make their mark and send both words and picture to Make Your Mark to be shared on our website. Prizes will be awarded to the best entries. Send entries to: [email protected] with the young persons name, age and youth club by November 30 2008
Get in touch
We are at the early stages of developing new projects for young people in partnership with youth organisations. If you work with young people outside of school or college – through volunteering, youth clubs or similar do get in touch: [email protected]
