Parents
Enterprise education is used to equip young people with confidence and skills that can help them achieve whilst in education, and provide a firm foundation for adult life.
Most young people aged will experience some enterprise education whilst at secondary school or college, as they relate their learning to the world of work. The development of financial and business understanding are important elements of enterprise education, but broader skills such as creativity communication, risk-taking and risk-management, and the drive to make ideas happen are also central to enterprise education.
Enterprise education is often about engaging young people in practical, hands-on situations - enabling them to gain new experience and discover new talents. Make Your Mark projects reach young people through school, college, university and voluntary youth organisations. We aim to boost motivation and confidence in young people, to help discover ways they can make their mark through life, work or education.
