“What sparked me off on my career was a love of playing music, and when I realised that I might be able to do it for a living, life had a plan…which went something like this:

1. I worked out how to play an instrument
2. I started trying to write songs
3. I found something really interesting in songwriting and wrote loads of songs.
4. I played those songs to anyone and everyone who I could find to listen, and if they wouldn’t listen I found ways to make them!
5. I also learnt how to have a good time, so I can host a good time too.”
