About EPN

What does the network aim to achieve?

The membership of the network will be highly diverse and include colleagues from a range of backgrounds who have taken innovative approaches to embedding enterprise.

The network and its events will be tailored to the demands, needs, and aspirations of its users. We will ensure a strong membership of places and organisations that have an excellent reputation for enterprise.

The people driving enterprising places include; enterprising local authorities, RDAs, place-based Local enterprise initiatives, and enterprising chambers of commerce.

The network seeks:

  • To showcase innovative approaches to enterprise through the sharing of good practice.
  • To provide an interactive forum that connects Enterprising Britain winners and entrants with other enterprise initiatives.
  • To stimulate debate and discussion across the UK on creating enterprising places.
  • To spread the Make Your Mark campaign approach and activities at a local level.
  • To encourage entrants to the Enterprising Britain competition.
