What gave you the idea for Instant Fashion Happiness?
It had been my long term dream to set up my own fashion label.
What were you doing at the time you had the idea?
Finishing my degree in fashion and textiles.
What was the first thing you did to try and make the idea happen?
I went to a careers advisor.
Who helped you, and how?
Creative Bias and Train 2000 helped me with my business plan.
What obstacles did you encounter along the way?
Lack of funding was the toughest obstacle.
When did the idea start looking viable?
When I started getting my work in shops in the UK.
Future plans for the idea?
To attend an international trade show in London, continue networking and build a strong fashion brand.
Advice to anyone else who wants to make their idea happen?
Keep persevering it’s hard work at first but it will pay off in the end.
