Daniel Rajkumar

Daniel Rajkumar runs a successful web solutions company based in Wakefield called Wéb-Tränslatiôns

Daniel graduated with a BSc in Computing & Management and chose to go into business in e-communications because he saw it as a fast growing area. He says: “The internet has removed the geographical barriers of trade and Wéb-Tränslatiôns is removing the barriers of language and culture.”

Wéb-Tränslatiôns supplies high quality language and internet services, mainly translation and website localisation, but also software localisation, multilingual website development, online promotion and international e-business consultancy. The company is fast growing - Daniel now manages a team of six people and has developed a reputation in the industry for high quality translations.

Enterprise is a way of life for Daniel - for him it is all about taking risks and believing in your product. When asked about his greatest career highlights he says: “Recruiting my first employee, closing my first big sale and exhibiting at Internet World in London. Oh, and having my statue created as a prize for winning the Broadband Britain Challenge in 2003.”

Daniel’s goal is to turnover £1 million at the end of his third year and then to work on other ventures. His advice to other people that want to follow in his entrepreneurial footsteps is to get as much advice and guidance as you possibly can.
