Our campaign champions have a passion for manufacturing and engineering and are keen to encourage enterprising and resourceful young people to realise their potential.


Martin StevensMartin Stevens

Martin is Managing Director of Unimatic Engineers Ltd a team of multi-skilled engineers providing applications engineering to help customers solve problems, design machines and processes. He is also Chairman of Made in London, an organisation which represents the wide and varied manufacturing sectors across London.


Jem StansfieldJem Stansfield

Jem is an engineer and TV presenter. He has presented programmes including Channel 4's Men in White, ITV's Home On Their Own, BBC2's Science Shack and Channel 4's Zero to Hero. He has also been a regular on Scrapheap Challenge since being a young expert in 2001.


Marie Noelle BartonMarie-Noëlle Barton

Marie-Noëlle Barton is an inspiring and motivating speaker with 18 years' experience. She speaks with expertise, enthusiasm and humour on a wide range of issues. In 1999, Marie-Noëlle was awarded an MBE for her work in promoting science and engineering to women.


Mark AgerMark Ager

Mark is Managing Director of Stage Technologies Ltd supplying the performing arts world with computerised automation systems. With offices in London, Las Vegas and Hong Kong, the company sends engineers all over the world to make cars fly and dragons walk.


Don BlackwoodDon Blackwood

Don Blackwood is Commercial Manager of Bovince Printers - one of the largest screen process and digital printers in Europe. Bovince has received a Queens Award for Enterprise and an Investor People award , and has been recognised as an example of best business practice in action.


Margaret WoodMargaret Wood

Margaret is Founder and Chief Executive of Yorkshire based ICW (UK) Ltd, designers and makers of modular glazed systems. They have created products ranging from test bedchambers for the euro-fighter to two-hour fire rated windows for supermarkets, tailoring their work to individual customer specifications.


Harry RawlinsonHarry Rawlinson

Harry Rawlinson is Managing Director of Aqualisa Showers, the UK's most successful power shower manufacturers. Aqualisa has a turnover of £50 million a year and is renowned for developing new and innovative products.


Mike TurnerMike Turner

Mike Turner is the Chief Executive of BAE Systems - a defence and aerospace company with 96,000 employees worldwide and a turnover exceeding £15 billion a year.


 Jeremy Leggett

Dr Jeremy Leggett is the Chief Executive of Solarcentury, the UK’s largest solar solutions company, winner of multiple awards for innovation and sustainability. He is the director of the world’s first private equity fund for renewable energy and was a member of the UK government’s Renewable Advisory Board from 2002 -6. He has written two books “The Carbon War” and “Half Gone” both have been critically acclaimed but have failed to sell as well of those of Jeremy Clarkson.


David FoxDavid Fox

David Fox is the Chief Executive/Chairman of Power Panels Elec Systems Ltd recognised as a world leader in the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic assemblies to a diverse range of industrial markets. The company runs an Excellence School of Training in order to create a learning environment for all employees.
